About

Hi all,

I am Antony.

As a chartered member of the CIOB, I have accumulated more than 10 years of experience across a diverse range of construction projects, spanning infrastructure and building works. Currently, I am employed as a Quantity Surveyor in the UK, where I consistently strive for excellence. My academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Infrastructure) and a master’s degree in Environmental and Ecological Engineering, with the distinction of ranking third in my class.

My background in construction, coupled with my robust computer skills, allows me to make a significant impact in the areas of problem-solving, productivity improvement, and the delivery of high-quality work. I am committed to the pursuit of innovation and efficiency within the industry.

In terms of computer expertise, I am proficient in a variety of applications and programming languages. My skill set encompasses Excel, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D, along with programming languages such as VBA, R, JavaScript (vanilla, NodeJS, ReactJS), and databases (MySQL, MongoDB). I am also experienced with AutoLISP for AutoCAD automation and web development. I enjoy staying up-to-date with the newest construction methods and ideas about the latest construction practices and methodologies by engaging in continuous professional development through platforms like the CIOB Academy, Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, as well as various industry publications.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to share my knowledge with others, giving lectures on AutoCAD and Excel to eager learners. I find great satisfaction in helping others develop their skills and advance their careers.

Initially conceived as a programming portfolio, this site has since evolved and embarked on a new journey. While the future direction remains uncertain, I am optimistic about the potential for growth and discovery.
